1. The Menu - To start, you should solidify your menu at least a week in advance. Make sure to include at least a few things that can be made days prior to the event so everything isn't left to the last second. Keep it simple and make fewer items but ensure you have plenty to go around!

2. Prep - Head to the grocery a day or two prior to the party to be prepared. If you forget something you'll have time day of to run out and grab it! Include a few store bought items to make it simple (marcona almonds, nuts, olives, etc).

3. Presentation - When planning, think about the presentation. Make sure you mix some color in (colorful crudité, pretty dips or sauces are my go-to's). Lastly, beautiful flowers can make a table stand out!
